André Silva is a Porto-based independent game creator, musician, and composer, and the founder of Tremoço Games. He came to game development from music, with years of experience as a composer, and that background runs through everything he makes.
He is currently developing 9.8, a physics-driven 2D space agency simulator about launching rockets, reaching orbit, landing on moons and planets, deploying satellites, building infrastructure, and expanding across a handcrafted star system.
As the solo creator behind the project, André leads game design, systems design, production, worldbuilding, and audio and music direction, alongside playtesting and community-facing development. He is also composing the game's original soundtrack, currently in development, to score the tension of launch and the solitude of deep space. 9.8 is being developed as a long-term independent project with an emphasis on emergent spaceflight, accessible orbital mechanics, mission progression, and player-driven exploration.
